CNBLUE and FT Island to join Summer Sonic Festival in Japan
FNC Entertainment idol bands CNBLUE and FT Island will be rocking out the stage of Japan’s biggest music festivals, Summer Sonic Festival.
On May 13, Summer Sonic 2013 updated its official site with artist lineup, with both FT Island and CNBLUE’s names on the list. Both groups will be playing at the Rainbow Stage in Tokyo on August 10th, and at the Flower Stage in Osaka a day later, on August 11th.
The Summer Sonic Festival is an annual two or three-day rock festival held at the same time in Osaka and Chiba. The line-up contains many Japanese rock musicians from both major and indie record companies, and also international acts. Continue reading

CNBLUE makes another donation in Hong Kong
CNBLUE, who’s been actively participating in various charity activities, has made another donation in Hong Kong.
From May 10-11, CNBLUE held a concert in Hong Kong for its world tour concert, the ‘2013 World Tour – Blue Moon’. During a press conference prior the concert, the group announced their donation of the profits from their T-shirt auction to Red Cross Hong Kong.
CNBLUE members said, “We wore these T-shirts during our shows. We hope these will be great gifts for many fans, and we hope that these will get used for causes.”
The group also recently donated the profits from selling their handcrafted bracelets to a charity organization in Thailand. The bracelets feature the members’ initials and were made by the members themselves. Continue reading

CNBLUE’s schedule from month of May to June has been revealed.
Group CNBLUE was busy attending various events and broadcast both in Japan and Korea. After attending different events, they are having concerts in various countries as they continue their BLUE MOON WORLD TOUR in Hong Kong, Seoul, Melbourne, Sydney and Manila.

CNBLUE’s Jungshin cast in new drama with Uhm Tae Woong
After his successful drama ‘My Daughter, Seoyoung’, CNBLUE’s bassist Lee Jungshin has been cast in his second project through KBS 2TV upcoming historical drama ‘Knife and Flower’.
Challenging himself with a new role, Jungshin will be taking up the role of Si Woo, a skilled and charismatic warrior, who’s also very romantic toward the king’s daughter Moo Young (played by Kim Ok Bin). He protects her like a shadow and has only loved her his whole life.
Jungshin joins Uhm Tae Woong and Kim Ok Bin in the upcoming new Wednesday-Thursday drama involving martial arts, love and revenge. It tells about the story of King Yeon Choong’s daughter Moo Young falling in love with son of Yeon Gaesomun, who killed her father. Continue reading

CNBLUE appointed as ambassadors for ‘Food for the Hungry’
Idol band CNBLUE has been appointed as an honorary ambassador of the international relief organization, ‘Food for the Hungry International’ (FHI).
A ceremony was held by the Korea Food for the Hungry International on the morning of May 8th at Seoul’s Film Forum, where CNBLUE was given a plaque appointing it the honorary ambassador for the organization.
The members of CNBLUE spoke of their gratitude for the encouragement and opportunity to be part of the meaningful activity. Lee Jonghyun added, “We are honored to be part of the FHI and we feel like we are gaining more than what we are giving.” Continue reading
