CNBLUE was revealed to have appeared in a Thai educational textbook.
Recently on CNBLUE’s official Twitter, Jung Yonghwa posted, “Everyone! It’s been a long time! BlueMoon in Seoul has ended but it still feels surreal. Thanks again!”
He added, “Ah! We heard that CNBLUE came out in Thai textbook, but seeing it myself is really awesome! Thai fans thank you! If there’s a chance let’s meet again!!! Thank you for supporting us always wherever you are!!! We’ll work harder and improve ourselves in the future!” and shared a photo of a page from the textbook.
In the textbook ‘Basic Music’ for 12th grade students Thailand, CNBLUE is introduced as “A popular band who plays charismatic and live music to the public.” Continue reading
CNBLUE members Jung Yonghwa and Lee Jungshin wrote a song that express their phobia of airplanes.
On April 26, CNBLUE held a fan meeting at Tokyo International Forum Hall in celebration of the release of their 5th Japanese single, ‘Blind Love’. During the event, the band showcased an impromptu and self-composed song which expresses their fear.
Yonghwa said, “I tried expressing Lee Jungshin shivering in fear whenever airplane shakes as a ballad.” In the middle of the song, he joked with the fans saying, “I think I’m a genius for making this song.” Continue reading
It was previously reported that CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa has been cast in the upcoming SBS drama, ‘The Heirs’. However, FNC Entertainment stated that the singer has decided to turn down his role.
The agency confirmed that Yonghwa has decided to turn down his impending role on the new drama, which has already announced Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye in starring roles. The reason behind his decline is that the production company and his agency failed to reach an agreement regarding the character Yonghwa would play.
A representative stated, “Yonghwa will continue to be dedicated to his music activities, including CNBLUE’s ongoing ‘Blue Moon World Tour’ and upcoming album. He has been receiving offers from many productions, we’re sure he’ll be able to return in acting again.” Continue reading
As part of their ‘Build a School’ charity project, CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa gifted school song for the students of ‘CNBLUE School’ in Africa.
On April 14th, MBC’s Section TV interviewed CNBLUE, who introduced school that they built and are currently supporting in Africa. They have been donating parts of their profits from concert and album sales to manage the first ‘CNBLUE School’ in Burkina Faso, which was named after the band.
In addition to creating the school, Yonghwa also revealed that he personally wrote a song and gifted it to the school to use as a school song.
Meanwhile, ‘CNBLUE School’ currently has about 100 children, providing the students with education, foods and other instructive programs. Continue reading
CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa has been cast in the upcoming SBS drama, ‘The Heirs’.
On April 15, FNC Entertainment confirmed that Jung Yonghwa will be acting in Kim Eun Sook’s new drama, ‘The Heirs’ which has previously announced other cast members Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye. This will be his third drama with Park Shin Hye after ‘You’re Beautiful’ and ‘Heartstrings’.
‘The Heirs’ is an upcoming piece by screenwriter Kim Eun Sook, who wrote such hits as ‘Lovers in Paris’, ‘Secret Garden’ and ‘A Gentleman’s Dignity’. The drama is expected to air in the second half of the year. Continue reading
